Polaris Investigations combines over 30 years of federal investigative, intelligence and national security operational expertise with the latest in sensing, visual and data collection technology to acquire solid and reliable facts to support a client's case.
Polaris Investigations' founder and managing investigator, Mr. Rick Charles, has been entrusted to protect and keep discreet the most sensitive secrets of our nation for more than a quarter-century. He is currently a credentialed federal investigator with an active security clearance granted by the U.S. Intelligence Community (TS/SCI).
For the past 15 years, Rick has worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigations in a operational national security area and for the Federal Aviation Administration as the program manager responsible for national security investigations and protective operations.
A self-described "AvGeek", Rick served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force as an aviator and command and control officer. He has served three assignments in the Middle East including flying over 30 combat missions in Operation Desert Storm in 1991.
Rick has a Master of Criminal Justice Administration degree from Troy University, a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas, a Certificate in Aviation Management from Stanford University/International Air Transport Association and a Certificate in Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, among others. In addition, he has completed numerous courses provided by the CIA Sherman Kent School for Intelligence Analysis and CIA University; Federal Bureau of Investigation; Defense Intelligence Agency; and the CI Centre.
Rick profoundly supports law enforcement, fire-EMS first responders, our current military service members, and fellow veterans.
